Innoport gives you instant access to your voice messages from anywhere! Use the voice services in conjunction with faxing or designate your personal Innoport phone number towards voice use only. Set your phone number to receive voicemail or create an announcement line where people only call up to hear your outgoing message.
Check messages by phone or receive voicemail in your email. Keep the default greeting or record a personalized one. Once a voicemail is left at your number, the voice message is automatically converted into an electronic file and immediately delivered to your email account. You may specify any email address for receiving messages and you may even assign up to four destination email addresses per phone number for simultaneous message delivery. With select service plans, you may also dial in to your Innoport number to retrieve your voicemail messages.
Voicemail messages are attached to your email as digital audio files in .wav format, so you can listen to messages on your computer with the same sound quality as messages left on traditional answering services or devices. Use just about any audio player, such as Windows Media Player, RealOne Player, Winamp or QuickTime, to play the voicemail. Because messages arrive in a common file format and most computers are pre-equipped with an audio player which supports this file type, there should be absolutely no software for you to install.
If your primary source of checking messages will be by phone, enable notification options for always receiving text message alerts with no file attachments whenever a new message arrives. Notifications can be sent to any email address, so if your wireless device, such as a cell phone or pager, can receive emails, specify the email address associated with this device as a delivery email address. Once you receive the alert, dial in to listen to the message. Alternatively, if you wish to be alerted whenever a new voicemail arrives so that you can listen to the message in your email, specify the email address tied to your mobile device along with a regular internet email address.
Innoport Voice Access takes you to an interactive voice response (IVR) system whenever you dial in with your personal identification number (PIN). Once you are in the system, you may record a personalized greeting, restore the default greeting or listen to voicemail. Voice Access has no storage limit which restricts new incoming messages and it retains the last 30 days of new and saved messages.

Each account comes with an online activity log which displays the last 30 days of inbound message transactions. Your 30 day message history allows you to review, organize, resend and download messages. |

Review such details of a transaction as the date & time stamp, Caller ID, message length and delivery status. In the event you misplace a message or need instant access from a remote location, you can resend messages to email addresses assigned for delivery or specify other email addresses. If you have opted to receive only notifications when new messages arrive, you may return to your activity log in order to download message files. Because we employ SSL (secure sockets layer) technology to protect all transmissions between the client and our website, direct downloading also creates a completely secure messaging environment.
Messages in your activity log which are older than 30 days are automatically purged. However, inbound messages may be moved to an Archive folder for storing beyond 30 days (1 MB file storage space included with each account). When using premium Voice Access features for checking messages by phone, move messages you have already addressed via email to a Deleted folder so that these messages are no longer stored when dialing in. |
